This Multi-Skill DIY course is aimed at enthusiastic DIY’ers wishing to learn additional skills or reassure themselves before undertaking big projects.
Students for this course could be, DIY’ers, First Time Home owners looking for more insight possibly to undertake smaller jobs with a little more confidence.
This course will give you enough knowledge in three trades to enable you to carry out basic tasks in plastering or carpentry & joinery, bricklaying.
- Plastering
- Skim plastering practice
- Plaster a wall or ceiling (both if you have time)
- Work with setting plastering trims
- Plastering tools and their uses
- Carpentry & Joinery
- Learn to use woodworking tools
- Create various woodworking joints
- Learn to work from a drawing to take on a small project. Time dependent on individual student.
- Bricklaying
- Learn trowel skills
- Build brick walls
- Learn how to set out walls
- Bricklaying tools and their uses
Learn from industry-experienced and well-qualified tutors who have spent many years in the Construction Industry and have specialist qualifications and knowledge to bring to their teaching.
